Industrial Countertops

Workbench Tops for Workshops, Job Shops & Manufacturing Plants

Notes: Imperfections such as gaps between wood pieces, unsightly knots and glue spots will show in industrial tops. Cutting into a countertop (e.g., trimming its length or width or executing miter cuts or cutouts) will void the manufacturer's warranty. If you contact us, we will happily provide a price quote for a factory-warranted cut or cutout. If you intend to cut into your countertop anyway, be advised that metal fasteners are used in these tops to add structural strength.

Industrial Work Benches Are Built to be Tough, Not Necessarily Pretty

These industrial-grade countertops are perfect for installations where you really need the sturdiness of maple hardwood but you can sacrifice a bit on aesthetics. While you won’t get the beauty of residential-grade butcher block countertops, you won’t get stuck paying a premium price either. These industrial tops show some color variation, a few knotholes and sometimes small gaps where wood strips abut, but they're guaranteed to get the job done. Enjoy the practical benefits of well-constructed work bench counters and save a few bucks at the same time.

Work Bench Tops Made of 1-3/4” Thick Maple Butcher Block

Maple is the hardest North American hardwood, making it great for industrial applications. These particular work station table tops are made by bonding together wood rails through the application of industrial glue, high heat and pressure. Each inner rail is comprised of short strips of wood butt-jointed together. Wood strips that run the full length of the block are used as the work top's outside rails.
