Italy’s Second-Best-Known Leaning Tower Is a Magnetic Knife Block
It turns out Italy’s two most famous leaning towers are less than 250 miles apart. The home of the lesser-known of the two – Artelegno’s 07 Venezia – is the village of Taceno, located in the region of Lombardy. That’s where Artelegno’s artisans design and oversee the making of their stunning magnetic knife blocks.
The Venezia 07 Provides Magnetic Positions for 14 Knives in Total
The slanted orientation of the block’s beech wood slats makes it incredibly easy to retrieve and replace knives of various shapes and sizes. The motions are natural thrust and pull gestures. It’s especially easy to place knives on the block’s top surface; you’ll want to store there the blades you use most often.
