We turn to professionals for tips since they typically have more experience than the rest of us. Professional chefs Chris and Chris know a lot about preparing meals and cleaning up afterwards. Leveraging their years of experience the pro-chef duo developed the “Chop and Drop” food handling system, which makes it easy to set aside your “keeps” and to collect and dispose of your “leaves.”
The heart of the system is its “Pig Snout” - a hole in the worktop where you can direct sliced food chunks and byproduct juices you intend to use in the meal, as well as scraps and residual juices you wish to discard. Slide the “keeps” into the stainless-steel Chef pan that’s included. Afterwards, swap out the chef’s pan for the included trash ring and attach a standard grocery bag to the ring. Slide “leaves” into the snout then dispose of the trash bag. The bulk of your cleanup is now complete!
Two drawers that glide easily on nylon rollers provide concealed storage space inside the cart’s apron. Beautiful slatted-wood shelves make a convenient home for everything from plates and service ware to pots and pans, or perhaps food awaiting preparation. The included speed rack, which can be attached to either side of the cart, is the perfect place to keep your go-to spices and other ingredients close at hand.
You can easily maneuver the work station around your kitchen thanks to commercial-grade caster wheels, two of which lock to secure the work station in place. In front of your cabinets load dishes and silverware. Visit the fridge to load the food you will prepare. Deliver prepped food to your range or grill, and cooked food back to your cart for final delivery to the dinner table. Finally, roll the workstation your sink for cleaning.
