We Guarantee Satisfaction, or Your Money Back*

If you discover any manufacturer defects or parts missing, or damage incurred during shipping, Butcher Block Co. will work with the manufacturer to promptly resolve any issues to your satisfaction. If necessary, we will coordinate the production and shipment of replacement goods.

*If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within 30 days of receipt. You will be refunded the original purchase price less a 20% restocking fee. Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping expense. Also note that made-to-order items cannot be returned, except in cases involving manufacturing defects or confirmed shipping damage.

IMPORTANT: Inspect Merchandise Upon Delivery. Retain Original Packaging.

We will notify you by email if your order will be shipped via a freight carrier. If such is the case, you should familiarize yourself with shipments by freight and be sure to thoroughly inspect the goods upon receipt. Regardless of the method of shipment, please notify us immediately of any damage. You should hold onto all original packaging material as it might prove useful should you need to file a claim against the shipping company or if the goods must be returned to the manufacturer. 

Order Cancelation

If you decide to cancel your order, please call us immediately. Typically, we are able to cancel an order and issue a full refund if the order has not yet shipped and production of the item(s) has not yet begun. If an order is already in production, it cannot be canceled for any reason.

Product Returns

If you need to return goods, first call us or email us at [email protected]. Include in your email the name shown on the order, the order number, the order date and the reason for the return. We will email you instructions for completing your return. It’s important that you not return an item before receiving return instructions from us.

Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

In the event that a shipment is determined by the shipper to be undeliverable or refused for any reason other than obvious damage, you will be liable for return shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee (or the full purchase price if the goods are made-to-order and show no sign of damage). If an item is undeliverable because the delivery address you provided is incorrect or invalid, or if the freight carrier is unable to reach you to schedule delivery, the goods will be returned to the manufacturer or warehouse and considered undeliverable, and additional charges might apply.
