Floating Shelves

Live-Edge and Straight-Edge Shelves in Maple, Walnut, Cherry or Ebonized

A Patent-Pending Shelf Hanging System Makes Installation Quick and Easy.

Live Edge Shelves Perfectly Blend Functionality with Natural, Rustic Beauty

Floating live-edge shelves are a great way to introduce nature into your living spaces. The front edge of each live-edge shelf shows off the outer surface a major tree branch with its bark shaved away. No two natural edge shelves will look exactly alike. Note that any live-edge shelf you purchase could be either a solid plank or two wood pieces securely glued together.

Straight Edge Shelves Are Just as Sturdy and Beautiful, but Provide a More Refined Look

Likewise, any straight-edge shelf you purchase could be either a single, solid piece of wood, or composed of two long wood rails affixed together securely.

In Two Different Lengths and Are Easy to Install

Medium shelves are 36 inches long, and large shelves are 52 inches long. Straight-edge shelves are 8 inches wide and live-edge shelves vary in width from 6 to 9 inches. All shelves are 1-5/8 inches thick.

The clever EZ-LOCK Cleat system (patent pending) makes these shelves quick and easy to install; ensures the “floating” look, since no hooks or brackets are visible; and provides sturdy support. Thanks to the EZ-LOCK system, these shelves can support 10 pounds for each 18 inches in length. So medium-size shelves can support 20 pounds, and large-size shelves can support up to 30 pounds.

These Hardwood Floating Shelves Come in Maple, Walnut, Cherry or Ebonized

Maple is prized for its hardness and neutral coloration – mostly cream and light-to-medium browns. Walnut presents a much bolder color palette, consisting of creamy whites and yellows mixed with medium and dark browns. Cherry shows a tinge of light pink which can patina (darken) over time. To accomplish the ebonized look, Maple wood is stained very dark to achieve the look of ebony.
