As you can see, Chroma Type 301 kitchen cutlery is distinctly different. The most striking point of difference is its uni-body construction. Whereas other brands attach a handle to the tang (shank) of the implement, Chroma pieces, including this sleek-looking fork for carving, do not include distinct handles. In fact, there’s no transition between the handle and the fork. The only clue you have to discern where the two merge is the raised metal bead which denotes the carving fork’s center point and aids the user in hand placement for near-perfect balance of the instrument. In addition, the fork’s handle is a tapered triangle shape that feels great in the hand and prevents the onset of hand fatigue.

Chroma Type 301 products, when properly cared for, can be expected to last forever. Chroma guarantees that its products, when used and cared for properly, will be free from any defects in material, construction and workmanship. Exclusions: This warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser and excludes damage resulting from accident or misuse. Damage to knife blades, such as chips, broken tips and discoloration can be avoided by following proper care instructions.
If your merchandise arrives in damaged condition, please contact us immediately. We will provide instructions for returning the goods and we will work with the manufacturer to arrange timely replacement.
If you wish to return merchandise for any other reason, please notify us so we can provide instructions for returning the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping expense. Once we receive the merchandise and verify it is in its original condition, we will issue you credit for the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee.
If you find the identical, brand new product for less (including shipping & handling) on another website within 3 days of your purchase, email us the address of the webpage where you found the lower-price offer. If we determine that the online store is an authorized Chroma dealer, we will refund the difference. Please note that Butcher Block Co. will not always be able to match a lower price offer (e.g., in cases where doing so would violate legal agreements between us and our manufacturer-partners) and any refund may be limited (e.g., in cases where the competing offer is below our all-in cost).
